Piedmont Hydrogen System
Piedmontese technological excellence is the fruit of a synergy between academic institutions, research centres, the territory, its production activities, the Regional administration, local agencies, and its citizens. Beginning with these resources, we must create development that unites technology and sustainability to maintain productivity in a European stronghold of globalization that is revolutionizing development hierarchies.

Clean energy
Research and hydrogen are the focal points of the “Piedmont Hydrogen System” or SPH2.
The objectives of this complex system are summarised as follows:
- support and direct research in hydrogen technologies;
- promote the professional growth of technical and management personnel in universities, laboratories, and businesses;
- promote hydrogen as a clean carrier instead of the continued use of fossil fuels;
- support the development of regional infrastructures that use hydrogen;
- promote the transfer of technology from laboratories to businesses and industries;
- sustain the pre–competitive phases of technologies that produce hydrogen from renewable sources.
